Dimensions: Height: 19¼" Length: 8¾"
This is a stunning, very rare, pressed cardboard
die-cut Santa stand up made in Germany in the 1930's. It is
a large piece, measuring 19¼'' tall and 8¾"
wide.
It features an old time "Father Christmas" style
Santa with a bell in one hand and a bag of toys slung over his
right shoulder. The details on this highly embossed piece are
incredible, especially on Santa's face (see pictures).
The die-cut is in outstanding condition, with no tears, rips,
bends, staining, or unsightly discoloration. The colors are
consistent, bright, and vivid.
Santa is decorated with lovely glitter accents on his hat,
sleeves, trim of his coat, and bottom of his pants. The glitter
is in wonderful condition with very little wear.
This Santa has been beautifully maintained. At one time it
was used as a stand up display as there are 2 small staple holes
on the toy bag just above the right hand (not visible - they
are in the black area) where a frame style pedestal was attached.
Therefore it would be easy to convert this piece to a stand
up.
This amazing piece will look amazing as part of your Christmas
display as the glitter shimmers beautifully in the light.
These are very rare and getting harder to find.
Don't miss out on your chance to own this classic Christmas
decorative piece. SOLD!
