This is a highly decorative, vintage mid-century Asian "Water Porter" figural table lamp. The lamp is guaranteed vintage, and comes w/ gorgeous hard to find celluloid lamp shade. The lamp is in perfect working condition. SOLD! This lamp (w/ shade) measures 15" high and 9" in diameter. It features a beautiful glazed ceramic Asian water porter figure. The Asian figure stands 6¾" high. The colors are quite striking; the paint is still bright & vivid, with no wear or fading. The wooden platform base is also super nice, with a nice glossy finish. The lamp has its original cloth insulated electrical cord. The underside of the lamp has its original felt lining. The celluloid shade is a lovely pastel green, and it is decorated with a pretty ribbon accented with cloth flowers. The design of the shade is gorgeous, with lovely rippled detail throughout. The condition is very good, with some breaks along the bottom edge (see pictures). The Asian man figure is in great condition, with no chips, cracks, breaks, crazing, or repairs. Electricity is a standard 120 volt compatible with all U.S. and Canada wall power (40 watts capacity - 25W recommended). This lamp is super nice and clean and ready to be displayed / used. SOLD! |
