Beautiful streamlined curves and elegant angular designs (ca. 1920-1950)

This is a hard to find pair of very high quality vintage Art Deco Asian Prince and Princess table lamps. The lamps are complete with original fiberglass shades and finials. The lamps are in fantastic condition with no chips, cracks, breaks SOLD!

These lamps are of exquisite quality. The ceramic Prince and Princess figures are beautifully designed and decorated with gorgeous molded features - including lovely long black flowing hair, beautiful facial features, pretty red lips, lovely detailed hats with striking gold highlights, and so much more (see pictures). The lamps have stunning intricately detailed brass pedestal bases. Both have gorgeous matching fiberglass shades with amazing vertically painted gold highlights throughout. The shades have a wonderful gold fabric trim on the top and bottom. The shades are even more stunning when lit, and the effect produced by these lamps is to die for. They are in wonderful condition with no damage; no chips, cracks, breaks, fleabites, hairlines, or repairs. There is only a bit of wear to the gold trim on the ceramic base of the Princess lamp and no other paint wear to mention. The colors are super bright and glossy like new. The brass bases are in beautiful shape, with no dings, dents, rust or oxidation. The fiberglass shades are in great shape with no rips, tears, or unsightly discoloration. They are in perfect working condition with an on/off switch on the light socket The lamps measure an impressive 27" high, 18" long, and 11" wide. The shades alone are 18" long, 11" wide, and 10" tall.
