This is a charming, vintage Eames Era / Art Deco / stalking Black Panther table lamp manufactured ca. 1950's. The lamp features a beautiful glazed ceramic stalking Black Panther figure, on a white painted wooden base.SOLD! The lamp is complete with large 14½" tall inverted cone-shaped fiberglass shade. The underside of the lamp has a protective green felt (new - replaced). The wooden base and panther are 19" long. The lamp is in excellent condition. The ceramic panther is free of chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines, fleabites, and crazing. The wooden base is very nice with very little wear to speak of. The fiberglass shade is free of rips and tears, but has a few small bends near the top (nothing major - see pictures). The fiberglass shade is decorated with a funky circular Eames era pattern in gold, white, and black. You'll be delighted with the gorgeous effect this lamp produces when lit, very appealing to the eye. The lamp work perfectly. There is an on/off switch on the light socket. The electrical wiring is in great condition, still supple and flexible. Electricity is a standard 120 volt compatible with all U.S. and Canada wall power.
