This is a fabulous rare, high quality, vintage Art Deco chef liquor decanter with 4 matching shot glasses from the 1930's. This set was made in Japan by Hinode. A must for your vintage bar setting. SOLD!
The decanter and matching shot glasses are in excellent condition and feature plenty of incredibly fine detail, vivid coloring, and an impeccable lustrous finish. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, fleabites, or repairs. The decanter has some crazing on the near the bottom, as can be expected from age (visible in photos). This only adds charm to this very unique vintage decanter. The shot glasses have only a tiny bit of light crazing.
The adorable hand painted chef has blue eyes and rosy cheeks with dimples. He is holding a large bottle in one hand, and a glass in the other hand. The bottle has a gold finish cork cap. There are 4 matching shot glasses with the cute chef's face on each one (see pictures). The colors are white, gold, burgundy, red, blue, black, and flesh. The finish is highly lustrous, and the colors are super bright and vivid. The overall measurement of the chef bottle is 7¼" tall, 4½" wide, and 3" deep. The shot glasses measure 2¼" tall and 1¾" wide. (See detailed photos).
Each piece is stamped "Hinode Japan" in red.
